An RMA number is required for all returns and repairs. Should one of our products need service, we will issue you an RMA number that is valid for 30 days.
When returning an item for repair, do not include accessories such as manuals, software or cables unless requested to do so.
Our standard policy is to provide depot repair or replacement for defective parts. If cross shipment of a replacement part is authorized by us, you will be invoiced for that part. Once the defective part has been returned to us, a credit will be processed and applied to your account.
When returning an item for credit, please send everything that was included in the original shipment, including manuals, software, cables, and the packaging. Products which are incomplete or show signs of damage or abuse may be subject to a restocking fee. Products returned after 30 days are subject to a 25% restocking fee. Products returned after 60 days are subject to a 50% restocking fee.
For all returns, regardless of the reason, the packaging must provide adequate protection against the possibility of damage in shipment and the RMA number must be clearly marked on the outside of the shipping box. Any unauthorized return will be rejected.
Returned items must be received by us in ‘as new’ condition.
Opened software products are not eligible for return unless defective in which case they will be replaced with like product.
Any product which has been designed and manufactured to meet a unique customer specification, whether it involves the modification of a standard product or is an entirely new design, is considered a Non-Standard Product and may not be returned for credit.

The customer is responsible for the cost of returning products to our warehouse, whether for repair or credit. Single Board Systems assumes responsibility for the outbound shipping costs.
