The T4R Single Board Computer

The T4R Single Board Computeris specifically designed to simplify upgrading older Intel® Pentium®, Intel Pentium® II or Intel® Pentium® III SBCs with a high performance Intel® Pentium® 4 or a Mobile Intel® Pentium® 4 Processor-M single board computer. The T4R generates its own +3.3V on board and provides the ability to route the +5V over to the +12V lines of the T4R’s processor. These power control features enable the T4R for use as a simple drop-in SBC upgrade in PICMG® 1.0 embedded computing systems.

Extended Operating Temperature*: 0° to 55°C.

*The T4R will operate at an extended operating temperature range of 0° to 55° C under the following conditions:

  1. The T4R must have at least 300LFM of airflow across the front and back surfaces of the board.
  2. CPU utilization on the T4R should be below 50% when at 55°C. Short excursions at full CPU utilization are possible.
  3. Unique application environmental conditions and the airflow design of your system may affect the system’s thermal performance.
  4. Temperature sensors on the CPU die monitor processor case temperature and will act to throttle the CPU operating performance in the event that the maximum processor temperature rating is exceeded.
